Joomla is designed to make adding posts and refreshing the look of the site much easier.

The administration is web-based, so it's possible to add posts and change things from any computer with a browser.

After looking at a lot of different templates, I chose Replicant by RocketTheme as the starting point. I really liked the transparent look and the ability to change the look of the site by replacing the background image, and it came equipped with an image zooming plugin that I needed for the Portfolio area. I plan to customize it somewhat, but for now I have my hands full just getting all the content put in and working.
